I agree with all the realtors here that for some might not be the most attractive deal, but for some looking to increase their sales.

Are town homes desirable as a rental property in Houston and is a 2 bed/2 bath an attractive combo?

I would make sure to find a location where public transportation is readily accessible since many tourists want to get to downtown.

I am not sure how they would fare over summer when it is crazy hot and not much tourist stuff happening.

@Raymond Anderson I think the taxes are so out of whack and high and the type of tenant you will attract deters a lot of folks from investing there.

They have chosen their path based on their skills and strenght, not the other way around.Just follow your gut and you will find that you will feel more attracted to some parts of REI than others.

People are telling me the 1 bedrooms attract a different kind of clientele, they are unstable tenants long term ?

We've had a lot of success attracting green-minded tenants, but it's a package deal.
