I'm not sure how to comment here, without offending you (in this format), so I won't...other than to say it's easier to assume the worst.When I was a hitting coach, I used to tell my players to go up to the plate assuming every pitch was a strike, and take if it's a ball rather than assuming every pitch was a ball, and swing if it's a strike.
