There is something I keep running into about the "entitlement mentality" of Sections 8 tenants and I would rather just have nice place with a different quality of tenants that will treat it well.

Hi,I am a 26 yr old who has been diagnosed with a mental disability.

People who wait until getting evicted before moving have a victim mentality.

My plan is to make everything smooth and look high-end.I may have a different mentality than some (not saying it's right or wrong) but I personally want my units to look high-end regardless of the tenants as I personally take pride in it.The way I look at it is if I have a defined checklist for a tenant exiting, any damaged walls will be on the tenant.

I don't disagree that some people game the system and some people were raised with an entitlement mentality. 

It wrecked me at the time mentally since I'd never so much as paid a late fee on anything the first 35 years of my life, but in hindsight it was smart having that money unsecured. 

My gut told me that I needed to ask the belligerent tenant to leave asap (I am very accommodating to tenants' needs, but this woman also had some mental problems). 

Do you want someone with a victim mentality in your rental.
