Wondering how do we officially terminate a contract that was signed by both parties.

Where I do agree with John is that many of the south suburbs are very poorly mismanaged and have very horrific and irrational real estate regulations -- you will not want to deal with the municipal officials in many of these towns while doing a rehab, particularly as a rookie 1,000 miles away.

If you warn her, she could call the health department about imagined health violations in her unit, and then for the next six months or longer, any eviction you file against her would be seen as retaliation.

At this point, we decided to terminate the lease.Our lease has a nuisance clause it in which states the following is a violation of the lease agreement and grounds for lease termination:-behaving in a loud, unruly, or obnoxious manner,-threatening the comfort, health, safety, or rights of others (tenants, Landlord’s agents)-disrupting the Landlord’s business operationsAll three apply to this tenant’s actions.The tenant’s wife refers to herself as a “property manager” and claims to work at another apartment complex in town, not sure if this is true.

I am not comfortable with this as my wife is immunocompromised and also carries other factors that could affect her long term health and or death.

Buyers want a vacant home too during this crisis, since they dont know the health condition of the people living there. .
