I am considering to buy an empty lot, then build a single family house, and finally sell it.Do you think Staten Island is a good place for this business?

Since then I have opened my LLC and am beginning to buy other investment properties under that LLC.   

These are some options that I am considering. 1) Getting an LLC and a Joint Venture agreement to partner with a long time friend of mine but somehow separate our business from our individual marriages?

I get leads and I have good contacts.

I have had a fair amount of recent success because I offer a pretty high rate of 11% secured by note and deed of trust on my houses in va and nc  but want to hear other peoples success stories besides local meetups.

If the decision to purchase materials is trust related than that is a red flag and should likely eliminate the GC from consideration.

I recently cashed out of a startup and working on a new venture.

He says it's in good condition, could use AC and a heater, maybe some new siding but otherwise in good condition.He has a renter there paying $1600 month to month who wants to stay but has no long term lease.
