I currently own a co-op in Brooklyn, NY, which I plan to put on the market, and then use some of the proceeds toward an investment property. 

I think a lot of the criticism in this thread comes from the OP use of the term “BRRR” and “exit strategy”.

A plugged-in neighbor decided to call in favors to the water co-op and they found every reason in the book to torpedo the project.

But for some reason "an STR" seems to feel right to me......To the OP, I like to place my cameras not so much to watch my clients but to make sure I have  enough coverage to see any unwanted bad intenders  visiting my property.

Given the OP is in southern CA and doesn't have rehab experience, the real numbers for the OP are likely much, much higher than this...

Thank you Alan.What I hear in your response is that people would need an additional benefit to investing in a ranchland DPP.Much like a co-op or CSA, there should be an in-specie distribution of product; maybe in this case beef?

The clause that OP shared says not less than 30 days.
