My daughter helps me with the places in our town.

One of my daughters spent 8 months for vocational school and makes $30 per hour.

I had someone liquidate their kid's college savings once.College is important, so I semi-jokingly calculated it out as a hard money loan from the 6 year old to her parents, 2 points and 12%, amortized over 4 years, and encouraged them to make this their new monthly payment to their daughter's college savings, after which they can resume their previous contribution amounts.

Currently it is 1:15 am and we just put our daughter down for the 3rd time tonight (cutting teeth).

I have only closed one investment deal for myself and have sold it.I met my wife when I was in college up in Denton and luckily she has been saving for about 25 years and we have a daughter that just finished her second year at The University of Arkansas.  

I'm a fan of airbnb, btw, having used it to book great accommodations, and my daughter has rented her apt. in Berkeley successfully and profitably dozens of times.The rental scamming/squatting thing seems more and more prevalent these past few years.  

I can then spend that time with my daughter, my wife, helping others or enjoying hobbies. 

To say the money isn’t there or you should not do it is not entirely true .just because I would not want my teenage daughter walking down the street there doesn’t mean I would not invest in the area lol why should I care my kids aren’t going to hanging out there .

I have even advised my daughter in LA who would love to buy a house but cannot afford, with the prices off the roof, to start saving and prepare herself to buy in a couple of years.I'm hoping to be ready for it!!!
