I'm still buying in Detroit and closing on a duplex here shortly.Happy to talk more about my experience/journey/etc. and shoot you some resources if you want to send me a DM.

Was it just a short term product construction product that you had to refi out of or was it a one time close product?

I am still in possession of a home that they were to close on in January. 

Do you capture comparables and then compare closing prices over time?

This area does great with STR and MTR's because of its location close to the city and Med center.  6812 Winton St, 77021 may be a good fit for a light value add. 

And to add to the stress, we took out a loan to cover the costs, and now we're watching our hard-earned cash disappear with each passing day.In this moment of desperation, I reach out to this community for assistance.
