I kept hitting a road block in trying to make a second investment property work along with our primary SF residence.

Apparently I lucked out and three blocks away they're going to start a big development project that includes a ton of retail, office, and residential spaces.

instead  I think people are  like now.. for $1450, for $200  less , I will get the same area and be a few blocks away.   

I think that was my original plan and looks like I'm stuck with that to meet code unless I add some blocking bar between treads.

I stumbled across an internet service called Logyourmessage that proports the emails sent through their service use date and time stamp logs for when or if the message is read or ignored and are as good as receipts for certified letters sent through the USPS if you need to go to court for eviction or for a judgement for arrears. 

Then I simply send them a very nice, polite, personal letter introducing myself and expressing a sincere interest in their specific property (named by address)...and I ask them, "if you would ever consider selling this property, would you give me a call? 

I own other properties in same block How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Not certain that remote work will last into the future for all jobs, employer will need to write a letter saying that status continues for 36 months as many employers have required employees to return to office/lab/...

He had a car parked in front of his driveway, called the local police station that's a block away who knew him personally, says he needs a summons issued.
