And you were happy to do it because you got to stay in a cool 4br secluded mountain cabin with a view rather than having to buy 4 separate hotel rooms in town with the crowds.Now these whiners (and it's all over social media) ##### and moan for hours about having to do their own dishes or leave the towels on the bathroom floor.Same thing with supplies.

We have also had people move out and dump things in a corner on the property so their unit looks clean to get their deposit back, but they've left a mountain of stuff in a corner somewhere.

We have a lot of growth from in-migration of retirees and work-from-home's that are attracted to our climate, low taxes (no income tax, relatively low property taxes), scenic area (mountains), and low cost of housing, though that last part is changing as the demand continues.

Now there is a crisis NOT needing STR, and there are plenty of STRs.3) If you are in a isolated mountain / vacation market with cheap RE assets where even with a low vacancy rate you are fine, and own 1 or 2 properties , I think you will be fine.

@Jessie Niu $250.00 a month to caretake a building is .59 CENTS a day for each apartment, in his 14 unit building, to Keep the entire building's atmosphere neat and clean,,the light bulbs changed (safety first)  the laundry rooms, the entries, pick up loose mail..
