I’m not even sure if it was un-permitted, but just assumed.

Because it supposedly indicates people who can’t pay their taxes so they may need to sell, at an assumed discount, before they lose their property.

But,I assume the guardian would have been appointed years ago since the now 18 year old was then a minor.

If this is an attorney that handles a lot of your brothers business already he might not be able to be impartial.This is a big decision so at a minimum you might want another attorney do a review of the agreement with you on a phone call.Just because family is involved do not assume everything will be fair etc.No legal advice given. 

@Anton Watt I assume that you have done some research to decide that these counties are up an coming.

That said, we have enough property and experience with tenants to know that some tenants tend to assume 'ownership' of a home and want to do improvements, ask to do them or sometimes just do them.

I feel like some of these small details get left out in the podcasts.I'm assuming I should get pre-approved before I start making offers.
