Did you call the local sheriff/police for information on any calls or disturbances at their current residence?

What I didn't see coming then, and I doubt few did, was that we would take the huge lurch to the left we did in 2009 and implement extremely destructive socialist polices.

Any beach town is going to have some homeless, but I think homeless in different areas act differently and I think it depends on how the police react.

Or is this more of a trepassing issue and should be handled by the local police?

You need to ask questions and understand polices of the new PM BEFORE you get bit again.

It was the Police Chief and not the Mayor who spoke, so I do apologize for the error of thinking it was the Mayor. 

No towing company will touch it without a title and the police won't do anything including give me the name of the owner.

That unauthorized people not on the lease cannot stay their.That if they have any visitors for longer than xxx days it needs to be approved.Get a crime free/ drug free addendum and get it passed out and signed by every resident today, so you can enforce that addendum.Have neighbor that alerted you to call police if they smell or see anything that's an issue. 

Be clear that if they don't you will call the police to have them escorted from the property.I always recommend a property manager for situations like this.
