Kelly G. VASH program - does accepting application lock me in to anything?

While responsible for a relative small portion of the rent and their utilities, participants are encouraged to find employment (and the VA will sometimes help; some of our food service workers were on this program) and save their finances until, eventually, they are able to become independent and no longer need the VASH voucher.

There are very narrow methods that used to work when correctly employed, but unless the end lender/servicer has full licensure it would now be an illegal transaction.

On their side, on top of what I suspect was a lack of gainful employment and poor credit (inherited tenants) for at least one of the tenants, they would have gotten an eviction on their record.

I am not employed at the moment, although my wife earns mid 60s and we have 660'ish credit scores with a BK7 on record 2 years ago.I live in South Florida, near Fort Lauderdale in Davie and established a non-profit a few years ago with intent to rehab/flip houses or possibly build on vacant land given by a local city top develop on.Aside from that, I am hoping to meet someone form the area who has been "down this road before" and would maybe be willing to at a minimum have lunch with me to give me some professional advice.Anyhow, nice to "meet" everyone!

I was full time employed for the last 25 years as an IT person but being recently laid off I've gained access to my 401k investments via a solo 401k and with the recent passing of my father I've inherited a fully paid house in NYC as well as inheritance money...woe is me :-).
