I'm looking to talk to a couple mortgage brokers around the Columbus, Ohio area.

Check your local laws to make sure you don’t need a license anyways to broker real estate.  

I will find (WA State Broker's License), and manage the deals for long term, cash flowing strategic holds. 

He then says, "Oh, so you are earning income from the activity of bringing a buyer and a seller together...in other words, you are brokering the deal."

In my honest opinion, it's their space, they should be responsible for the fit-out and complying with all applicable codes since they and their customers/workers will be utilizing the space.  

I see that all three of you have built custom workspaces for podio and this may be a broad question, but how do they all differ?

Something that my broker pushed me to do, wasn't planning on it, but it's been a nice source of additional income. 

To get an edge you will need to develop relationships with brokers and lenders to ensure that you are first on their mind when they come across a deal that fits your criteria.
