I have about $1M liquid currently but wouldn’t want to invest more than $200k on a property.

It is a hassle of course to log into each account to check on transactions, balance etc.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

To all aspiring house hackers and those aiming for a single-family primary to hold it as a long-term rental, what are your biggest frustrations likely keeping you from jumping in the game?

They would like to keep the timeshare as they are reaching a point where they want to take more frequent vacations and it would help cover the cost of those trips.

Unfortunately it was hard to find a contractor during the summer who would take on this "small" job (~$3k).

This deal fell on my lap as I was working with my family at their restaurant.

I have asked this to the guys selling the programs but frankly I don't trust them.

The rents are a bit higher on new construction and the builders are offering great rates to investors if you use their lender.
