In general Kennesaw is a good location for buy and hold investing, good schools, good location relative to highways and Atlanta Metro, and a stable economy.

That said, Advanta does have a good reputation and track record - just an angle to look into that someone new to the concept would not even think to consider.As an IRA provider, they would be OK for relatively static investments that do not involve a lot of transactions. 

I have a great credit and depending on what route of investment I take, my DTI ratio is good, not super great but good for anything up to $200k.Top view goal: Purchasing a duplex close to $200k or SFH close or less than $150k.Financing strategy: Option A - For the next SFH property using HELOC for rehab and private lending to buy from two relatives/friends.

Would highly suggest not buying single family homes no matter how low the prices might seem (relative to Canada).
