It would be great to hear from the community in terms of their opinion on turnkey vs. the specter of having to identify an out of state property, go through the purchase process, make it rent ready and then market for a tenant.Regardless of how my foray into real estate investment pays out, it is always re-energizing to get on Bigger Pockets and absorb the wealth of knowledge available here.

So they could re-fi out immediately upon buying the properties and get their cash back.- Reduced transfer fees since the corp could be transferred in possession of all properties, instead of 5 individual transfers.

Two landlords in town tell me they go all electric for the reasons discussed on these forums (one bill for tenant, one sec deposit, etc).My HVAC guy tells me 1-2 of the bedrooms will be difficult to maintain warmth and the cost to heat will be very expensive for electricity.
