I have attended a great Mentor our here in Honolulu that has changed my mindset and ability.  

I have that beginner desire to want to jump right in but want to be smart about it, so my thought process is to really focus on paying off the loans and in the meantime learn the most I can about real estate investing and find a mentor to work for on the side and learn from in the meantime.

My understanding on how to do this - and how our mentors suggest we do it - is to have the wholesaler fee to be captured on the HUD at closing.

You might just find that mentor you need.......FOR FREE. 

Being that I am new I am also looking for a mentor. 

My friend/co-worker is in the same boat as me and has been very successful, so my plan is to continue to use him as a mentor, but also to reach out and make new connections and expand my knowledge.  

I would consider Jeff my mentor.

Also, hopefully connect with one of the real estate gurus I've seen lurking this site for some personal inquiries and possibly a suitable mentor for this situation.

I am also willing to mentor or partner with someone and looking to sell our business out in about 10 years.

Ive been doing a lot of networking at a local REI club and have a few guys mentoring me.
