I expect there to be a wide range of positive and negative response to this campaign but the reality is, we want the world to know that we do not have the luxury to sit idle and let our customer service suffer.

That's a bit more that $2900 per month.Expenses:-$1400 -- rent (with roommate, admittedly this situation will change)-$350 -- electric, gas, phones, internet, car insurance-$500 -- health insurance-$200 -- groceriesTotal: $2450That leaves a net of $450 for luxurious expenses and a safety net for "**** happens" - car repairs, vet bills, medical bills, etc.Clearly doable, while living in the most expensive place in the world and living like a king compared to 99% of people on Earth and 99% of people who have ever lived.

The finishing do not have to be luxurious, but has to be good quality finishing.

I'm not trying to sell anybody here, and I don't feel like a contractor doing his/her job is a luxury that I should cherish. 

We had one come all the way from our front wall and lodged sticking out the back wall of the house on Christmas eve 1961.

The area receives over 1MM visitors per year, and new amenities are continually added, however there is a lack of quality lodging.  

They are raising money for a deal for a 300+ luxury apartment in a growing market.

In other words don't do a luxury flip in an up and coming neighborhood.

To me this is classic renters thoughts somehow when people rent they lose all problem solving abilities with lodging.
