Hoping to do some networking and learn more about the pros/cons of investing in the VA Beach area.Background:I have purchased and sold a primary residence before, but am trying to learn the ins and outs of purchasing for investment purposes.

It is the use of the building which is restricted.You won't be putting a vacation rental in this area without inviting a quick lawsuit, and you will lose.  

Already have them insured individually, however; hoping to save money with portfolio insurance.Any feedback will be appreciated.Thanks.

With you never seeing the inside I'm hoping the land itself without the structure or the cost to tear it down and haul it away is still a good deal.

I read the following article and the reference to the 'Dirty Dozen'; hoping that we have a better idea of whether 453 is the Holy Grail of unlocking cash and deferring taxes, or if we should run the other way.

These are the 2 options we were already thinking of but I was hoping that maybe there was another option that forced them to reduce our bill and not charge for both plumbers since the second one was repairing what the first plumber didn't do or did wrong.
