Have you calculated raising rents on the other units if they are below market or renovating them to force appreciation and rents?

In addition, the right purchase allows you to force appreciation and rapidly accelerate your wealth growth through a sale and 1031X into a larger property if you do choose.

This a primary force in my motivation.

Force them to jump through the hoops and force them to declare themselves disabled, and to get a doctor to vouch for it.

On the flip side, I could see some people who would be OK with 5 years and this would just force some people to sit on their homes for longer periods of time, which would continue to contribute to the housing shortages we see today.
