If this will be your forever home to never be turned to a rental, then a pool is up to your personal preference, but I personally would rather not have one and either put up one of those pop-up pools or go to the public pool and pay a bit the few times of the year the kiddies want to get wet ... or better yet, let them swim in the ocean in my case :)Otherwise, good comments from others above.

There are no secrets in real estate... there is greater knowledge  some have it some don't then there is luck and market timing which can be seen as luck or really smart investing or a combination.buying a great value and refinancing out money is hardly earth shattering.. or new or some secret concept.On the flip side there is such a thing as IP and certain knowledge you gain that can give you an edgefor me when I was buying court house steps I would get approached all the time when people saw me buy 3 props in 1 hour for a million bucks.... they want to start asking questions of course.. and Of course I just politely tell them I learned the foreclosure game over many years and its all public knowledge and I suggest they go study it.
