If they cut you out, then you've spent 5 minutes figuring out who NOT to work with.

I was thinking we could install more baseboard heaters and turn off gas furnace all together or at least turn on the baseboard heaters enough to cut down on gas consumption.

It sounds like it can cut the time I plan to take action in half.

Additionally, even if your current PM doesn't rent out furnished units, you can exercise using another self-managed option where you can list and screen for the unit yourself (and cut back on that PM cost). 

Through creative advertising, selling valuables inside, making scrap yard trips, and cutting the grass.

Lesson Learned: transparency can be a double edged sword.

Cut your bills down and save as much money as you can.  

I'll play with Rentometer over the next few days and see how far it gets me.I was finding City-Data was cutting off in 2010 ish depending on the area. 

I should have looked into it earlier but this cuts into my expenses and is thousands more than I anticipated.
