This put me in a slightly uncomfortable position because I though I would get their name from GV.

Everyone also tells me they routinely receive direct mail from dozens of other investors.So I'm thinking, why not mail to owner occupied properties?

It seems that they fill somewhat uncomfortable with that specific portion of the exam.

On another note, other investors will call and make it an uncomfortable situation too, even though they should understand what you are doing. 

Wholesaling isn't a beginning... it is a SKILL...Thats why wholesalers that I train routinely make more money than you do...

@Dawn Anastasi  you crack me up.... on the 300k deals we do routinely we put more than the cheap houses cost into the rehab..

You'd have to issue receipts to everybody for records purposes, and you are absolutely setting yourself up to be robbed if your routine is carrying around large amounts of cash on the 1st of every month. 

Not because one feels uncomfortable answering the how much are you making question means they conduct business in a shady way.Some sellers get pissed because you make money at all!

Or if you are too nervous or find it too uncomfortable to call them yourself, put an ad on Craigslist for an appointment setter on a commission basis and let them do the calling for you.
