I would be more embarrassed by not using my money wisely for example by leaving all of it in an FDIC insured account that you know will not keep up with inflation (It is OK to have some money invested conservatively but you should also have money working for you and FDIC insured accounts loose buying power due to inflation).Good luck

From realtor.com it looks like it is working but basically none of the realtors are working.I would guess in the next two weeks it will be basically impossible to get a rental in Harris County that has power, water, and sewer.As people have mentioned more than 50,000 homes have flooded in Harris County.

This limits my home buying power however and as mentioned previously on this post I will need to reach out to others such as my wife purchase a home....I've already moved her around enough times and with a newborn on the way the option of doing more owner occupied homes are not likely.
