If there is a way to bill that back to the tenants or significantly reduce that cost, it could be a maybe.

It could be cash buyers looking for 6 to 8% cap rate, but also figuring in the massive advantage of owning real estate with the new tax bill. 

Coincidentally at the beginning of the month, I receive a water bill for over $3,000!

Power got turned on over time to each home, the first about 10 days after the power was shut off, and the last about at the 17 day mark.OK- so maybe there are options.

Personally I set aside 15% of my gross rental income for my tax bill at the end of the year.

Dan,Greene County sends one tax bill at the end of the year, it includes taxes paid to schools, city, etc.
