Plenty of opportunity and not much to hear from the city upon purchase.The POS ensures that neighbors actually take care of their houses, which doesn't happen in areas where the city has no freaking control over anything.

Unless you intend to take out a HELOC when the equity builds there is no point in having cash lying around in a home not earning it's keep.

It was not our primary revenue stream but we owned/controlled the adjacent scrap (empty) land and it was a very small (and inexpensive) lot but convenient for 'customers'... but I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I had a similar opportunity.
