Hello BP, I have a friend that has just been through a divorce and owned a house with her husband.

A friend and me are planning on buying a multi unit together.

I keep talking to my friends and coworkers about investing in real estate and so many of them seem to not have any knowledge about the VA loan and what it could do for you.

Glad to find some local friendly investors🤙🏼.

I usually start with family and close friends for private money sources. 

That should be a question for your [hopefully real estate-friendly] accountant.

You should do what allows you to sleep well at night.

So region ,  time in the cycle  and desire to work in your own job.Most of my closer friends or colleagues are self employed small business owners..
