Here is the link to it.http://www.law.alaska.gov/department/civil/consume...I am no lawyer, but the way that article 8 is commonly interpreted in the industry is that if as a condition of a loan you need to move in to the home, you are able to issue a "notice to vacate" to any of the units, regardless of the rental agreement you are inheriting with the purchase.

Student loans prior to drop out, medical caused by the illness, consumer cause by the job loss, or a mix of two or three of those (if a mix, a percent breakdown would be helpful).Are they just unpaid/delinquent accounts, or was bankruptcy declared?

Water/ sewer/ garbage is about the same cost for a 500 square foot unit as it is for a 3,500 square foot house, so utilities become a bigger percentage of total rent and costs with smaller units.Collecting rent is time consuming.
