If guests haven't said anything to me after 24 hours when they're at the cabin, I'll send them a quick message ensuring their comfort, which they seem to appreciate. 

You can buy a single family residential property that doesn't make you any money and it will be comfortable, but it will also be a time and money drain.   

Everytime you spend money for each property, you can designate for which property it is so you can record it in your accounting software.The PM company also receives the rents.This simplies the banking and accounting but at the same time, each property is in its own LLC for asset protection purposes.

For your inspection make sure that your contractors and inspector are knowledgeable about Old Louisville specific requirements as it pertains to the exterior of your property i.e. box gutters, wooden windows etc. as this is a designated historic neighborhood those items will need to remain and be maintained.
