Just want some ideas of tax stratagies, is it best to get a real estate CPA or could I use tax software to figure out what can and cant be written off.

Now, there are software programs where you can enter odd payment amounts, but you need to know how to do the math too. :)

Based on the daily reports from the MLS, inventory is quite low in the sectors I'm filtering on, so I may need to adapt (and while I'm all for it, that's where myself and the partner with the cash diverge - so I'm considering getting pre-qualified/pre-approved for financing).I've done software development for 15 years, and an additional three as a project manager.

I do not do management for others, but I would like nice software for my own personal record keeping.

It's pretty much just a template website offered by our tax return preparation software provider but it does include contact info and some other useful info.

Are you using any kind of software to keep that side of the business automated for you?
