If the shape is more complex, you'll have to measure each piece of wall, break it into rectangles, compute the size of each one and add or subtract as appropriate.

By tons, the split system should be less in initial cost too.A draw back is having a breeze from the wall unit, but it's not as bad as a window air unit and CUs cn also creat a breeze if not properly installed.

They broke 3 windows including 2 window frames, 1 door, nearly destroyed the new carpet, there was human feces in the bathtub, removed a ceiling fan, knocked several holes in the walls; drew on the walls with permanent magic marker, etc.

Now from the looks of the roofline it does come down very low on the sides and I'm thinking my worst case scenario would be to have to tear the roof including trusses and build the walls up another foot or so to make that side comfortable, and put the roof back on.

One will be trashed, its my worst one, another was not finished when folks moved in and I have to gut the kitchen including flooring due to a water leak in a wall, the other is paint , faucets, and some serious cleaning.
