I am focused on multi-family properties and have been studying and researching the industry very heavily over the past couple of months.

Watch a demo, review the product forums and study the service before you commit. 

I've messed with all three of those during my engineering studies but not enough to be comfortable building anything.

The only way to prepare is to read, study and become as knowledgeable/experienced as possible.

My husband enjoys fixing things and wood working and I have design back ground. we are not expecting a huge return on the first house but would like to really get our feet wet and learn the whole process.I would like to study and get the RE license in the mean time. if anyone has good any suggestions or insights I would really appreciate it!.

However ive been on bp studying long enough to know the risk i put myself in with wholesaling.

study study study.. then find some deals and id be happy to help you along the way

I have been a p/t investor for a few years, currently work full time in property management, and I am studying for my Oregon RE broker's license.
