Hey Brian,     I purchased a home with them 2.5 years ago as my first Real Estate purchase and it went/has gone smoothly.

At this point, we act solely as messengers/transaction coordinators that are helping the transaction go smoothly by filling out contracts, makin sure eveything gets done in time etc.I've acted as a dual agent myself but, since I can see the seller's concern, I always offer to lower my comission hence passing most of the savings back to the seller.

I would look at the Washington State real estate commissioners website as I'm sure they have a list of approved course providers and choose from that list after researching the companies.That said, welcome to the industry and may your sales close quickly and smoothly.
