Waiting for an inspector to show up for a pre-pour slab inspection is a ***** when the concrete trucks are there at 4 am.As with every service profession, the good inspectors are underpaid and the bad ones should be shot.

Also, be very careful in reading the language of the fine prints in the coverage and exceptions.I am in Florida and I know my policy does not cover the "repair" of pipe leaks but does cover damages caused by sudden and unexpected leaks.So if a leak happens underground below your slab, the cost to remove the tiles/carpet/wood flooring, breaking up the slab, tearing up the baseboard, excavating to the location of breakage, are all covered, then the actual repair, which might be a $300 simple job, NOT covered, then to lay down a bed of gravel, refill, compaction, termicide application, moisture barrier, repour concrete and reinforcement, new flooring, new baseboards, painting etc...are again covered.

Building structure appears very stong (slab+concrete+huge redwood), but the roof is flat and although permit shows replaced in 2007, they are known to need repair and maintenence.Details are below with estimated rents when property is finished.

I have been purposefully changing negative thoughts, like when I find myself thinking, You're never going to get there, the second I realize I'm thinking it, I stop myself and change it, like I have already done this (whatever concrete steps I have taken recently), and I am almost ready for the next phase.
