I am 43 years old and married with twin 14y kids living in Olathe, KS.

I am also currently listening to "Your money or your life" on audiobook and reading the "book on rental property investing" at night, my wife thinks I have lost it because I read it to my kids as their night time book last night, just a couple of chapters....they seemed to enjoy it, lol. 

We usually walloped them despite being the "redneck kids" from Lexington/Rockbridge County.

Won't relocate even though I have kids there - but isn't that why I had to learn all these computer skills?

I lived in the old mobile homes myself, and part of it with my kids. 

Kids are raised to go to school, go to college, get a good job, and retire at 65...it's probably not her fault that she wants to "play it safe,"  but nobody ever got rich/wealthy off playing it safe, unless you won the lottery.
