To merge a personal asset (the home) into an LLC (the business) is contrary to the concept and you might as well ignore the LLC and hold everything personally - - you have no asset protection.Also noted is the zoning issue of running a business and a group housing facility in a residential zone - - check with the city to determine, the existing zone and if a variance might be granted - - lean on the veterans angle as service to the community/country.

This year I plan to partner with a contractor to build 8 more townhouses and plan to sell the portfolio of class D properties for a 70% profit and now I'm thinking to buy commercial retail plaza or medical offices.

Started looking for a place in grad school when I started having medical problems.  

WE KNOW MOST OF THEM HAVE MEDICAL, CABLE, CELL PHONE, STUDENT LOANS ON THEIR CREDIT.

Anyway, I welcome all comments, suggestions, etc.I should probably add that I have a strong preference towards residential buildings but this is mostly because I dont know yet sufficient information about other forms of commercials RE but medical buildings sound very interesting from the little I've read.Thank you,Jorge Mendez

Q1b: Investors that have experience in converting apartments/condo complexes/commercial spaces to health care, assisted living, etc facilities..

And finally, if your being honest, you're terrified and would absolutely be medically diagnosed with analysis paralysis. 

Of course, they could foreclose on  a Marijuana on a drug manufacturing facility. 

We fell into a dismal financial situation in NYC (medical bills, costly immigration fees, snowballing living expenses...) and decided to move to Tucson where the cost and pace of living is more manageable.
