If instead you had put all of that money from your 20's and 30's into cash-flowing real estate, you could be sipping cocktails on the beach in a couple of years (or possibly could have "retired" already) instead of putting in another 15-25 years for "the man" until you can access your 401k money.Not saying your approach is bad, and everybody has to do what fits their personal needs.
