My main goal at this point is to purchase rental properties to provide passive income into retirement and for my family.

Long term goal is to have enough rental properties, single and multi family, to have enough passive income to be my own boss and financially free!

I have little experience in R.E. investing other than purchasing homes to live in.My goal is to buy a rental home within the next year.I plan to re - invest my cash flow into my next buy.Eventually I would like to create a cash flow of at least $1000.a month.

That one is now under contract, but would be happy to meet with you and talk more about your goals, maybe I can find something else that fits your needs?

I also recommend you attend a local REIA meeting (check meetup.com, search Real Estate Investor) and talk to as many people as you can about your goals.

I am a novice but I have the time now to go full-time so that is my goal.

Also since my goal is practice  (while I save a downpayment)), maybe I should analyze any fourplex deal nation wide OR should I just broaden my local search from fourplexs to multifamily in general?
