This almost seems like a loophole, that I could buy a house which had multiple rooms per unit.

Hi community,Outside of the bigger pockets tools such as the rental calculator, what do you use to do that math and understand how much to charge rent and determine where you to buy real estate. 

To be effective, you must buy the property at a very good price and maintain a very tight renovation budget. 

Have you checked with all the SOFA status rules to see if you would be allowed to buy while there? 

The note has already stood unpaid for 10 years.I am hoping the bank may be interested in buying the property from me so they can re-sell it with a clear title.

I don't know any private lenders and hard money makes me nervous since I'm a buy and hold guy and the payback isn't as cut and dry as it is on a fix and flip.

Like anything is sales (and you are in sales even when you are trying to buy a property), the less clean cut the deal, the more likely it is to get rejected.

It has worked for me and my family and I will continue to look to buy similar properties in similar areas as opportunities rise.I'd be happy to continue this conversation.
