In Travis county I can imagine you may come across the occasional condo bought by a foreign citizen for their kid.  

CAREIA is pretty great, I've been having a wonderful time there networking and occasionally playing Cashflow.

I knew very little about real estate at the time, other than having an occasional comment from an uncle or aunt mentioning that some of the land that used to be farm land was now being built out as I grew up. 

That is a JOB and tough one.. some are lay downs some are Donnie brooks.. that space in my mind needs to have a lot of volume so you can throw the occasional bad one out with the bath water.. 

For now I'm looking to only use my license for my personal use and maybe working with the occasional investor.

Bigger items we work together on, there is not much my husband can't do, but occasionally I have to hire a contractor (heating or electrical) to handle repairs due to his day job.  

They do communicate but its only through text or email, and the occasional phone call.

Usually it's a bulletin, and occasionally it will be in the forums.

Mostly to flip to other investors, with the occasional rehab and retail.

The larger unit is owner occupied but the owners only use the unit occasionally when they visit from out of town.
