You use the word "first" payment, which I am inclined to think you mean the first payment to you as opposed to his first scheduled loan payment (also meaning the loan was just made).The Borrower's delinquency for the account, not just your ownership period is really what we should be talking about.  

I will contact them but was hoping someone might have had some words of praise or otherwise before hand.

In other words, their CoM is not tied to Fed prime, interbank, treasuries etc. and thus hard to predict.

If you are going to work with multiple agents, then better check the wording of the agreement.  

If you are the plaintiff you have the burden of proof, so you do not just your word against theirs.
