HI Robert,There are several ways to run and make sure you are maximizing your rental income while keeping your living expense as low as possible.

With prices as high as they are and income not keeping up I think more and more families will buy property together. 

It's about 750 sq ft with no kitchen and I can't keep people away from it. 

I think being in property management and maintenance my experience keeps me at bay for about 99% of properties I review....

I wish I had known that before subscribing to Propstream but at less than $100/month I'm going to keep Propstream as well for now.

Explain your situation and that to keep the deal together in the best interest of you, them and the seller that this is not much of a request and lets get it done.The tenant situation should have been resolved before you close.

But my husbi wants to keep it as he thinks it'd appreciate gradually. 

Dump them and move on or keep losing 900 a month for the foreseeable future. 

Why would you not keep it, rent and then sell down the road.

LPG is top notch.I'd say they are better than us.You probably could have bought cheaper mate.Just my opinion.Speak to LPG on the rent but again, they are top notch and know what they are doing.We like keeping 2 bedders around $800pm max for less turnover.$995 is great rent but you also don't want to evict if tenants can't pay because turnover costs can kill the ROI.Just my opinion
