I have a couple books on the way and listening to one from audible now.

I have been listening in on the BiggerPockets podcast as well as a few of their books.

This morning at the gym I listened to podcast episode 508 with Carrot.com founder Trevor Mauch.

After reading several posts in here and listening to the BP podcast, what I'm hearing is that it's more important to have an idea of what you are looking to have for cash flow each month.

I love reading / listening to books about business, money, real estate, and self improvement. 

I purchased a single family home in 2016 in the Sacramento with my VA loan, before purchasing our first home I did not know much about real estate and investing, I began reading real estate and investment books and found biggerpockets, I'd listen to the podcasts, watch every video they'd put out on YouTube and I read every book that biggerpockets had put out at the time.

I was more concerned on the ROI rather than finding the right home.Make sure you listen to recommendations from the experts you've hired.
