Human nature is to pick only low hanging fruit.

Im looking to develop small bodies of land, and make them "cool" with the upper echelon.

That is why I just wonder why people think that every body who is in this mess today willingly walked themselves into it.

An appraiser would give the bathroom $2k-$5k in value however as yourself as a human not an investor if you were married with kids would you ever live in a house that only had 1 bath.  

It's the same amount of money but seems to be a human nature kinda thing.

Since humans are inherently lazy, that's not very difficult to do - but it involves more than scanning Realtor.com for 10 minutes each day and asking BP members if something is a good deal. :)PS: Do not take the title of this post to mean that past performance predicts future performance.

I did a lot of shopping at thrift stores, Craigslist, habitat for humanity etc. to find a lot of what I needed to fix the house.

If not, then I hope you feel you can trust someone who is willing to take advantage of another human being so openly.

Having the surveys done on each lot is pretty far down the list of things that need to be done when subdividing, here where I am at,  yes each lot will have to be surveyed, pinned, and plotted on the final plat at the courthouse, you have to decide how many lots and if the governing body will even approve the proposed subdivision.
