The house I'm working on right now ended up getting 700-800 sq feet of unplanned new flooring (plus removing of that 700-800 sq feet of glued in laminate flooring) and a rebuilt cabinet due to water damage that was hidden by strategically placed furniture.  

Maybe you will fall on a gem but you'll have to digMake sure to have a tight schedule, know how you want the work to get done and with what quality.There's an old saying, if you want to have something done, ask the busiest person.

Some guy also spammed that thread and got his account closed and his posts hidden by the moderation team.

I don't know about the "Hidden" name, but Kent & Chris just launched FindMotivatedSellersNow this week with a webinar/sales pitch: http://webinar.findmotivatedsellersnow.com/ The pitch is that their system identifies VACANTS, and vacants are more likely to be motivated & distressed.

Because most bookkeepers are self-employed or contractors there are hidden gems and then there are some real stinkers.

Hidden self promotion is still self promotion.

With respect to the law of building codes, permitting and contractors, I have to be frank--in Ohio, it is nothing more than a hidden tax, a protective tariff, and a way for the municipality to veto any development or renovation that its architectural review board subjectively considers "undesirable."
