We fight with them all the time as do many other residence to fix things.  

Once they realized it wasn't worth fighting, all we had at issue were my attorney fees.

I fight to pay anyways though.

I have had fights, broken windows, job loss, bad contractors that screwed up the tenant experience etc. etc.

Yes, we've had to fight people for that payment and we don't always get everything as entirely planned, but we do have the unit rented and they are paying.

It's going to be really hard to fight a reassessment that is based on purchase price, do you think the appraiser is going to believe you overpaid for the property by a big enough margin to make a difference on the taxes?
