@Joe DiSanto  Even though there are state laws that govern evictions, the actual time to complete an eviction and the outcome can vary quite a bit based on the county where it's taking place, the actual judge hearing the case, whether or not the tenant engages in any stalling/delay tactics, etc.I've always heard that California in general is very pro-tenant when it comes to evictions, but I didn't have any firsthand experience to know whether or not that was actually true since I've never had to evict a tenant (though I've come close).

I recommend setting up keyword alerts for your area so you can start engaging with conversations in the forum that center on those neighborhoods - that can be a great way to connect with like minded folks pretty quickly.Also, f you haven't subscribed to the Bigger Pockets podcast yet, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Hey Tanh, In regards to the most challenging aspect of getting zoning approved for large projects, I would have to say overcoming community opposition and developing an effective community engagement strategy can be one of the largest hurdles, at least on the West Coast.
