File a complaint with whatever agency in your state regulates mortgage originators (presuming this person is licensed or registered, which you can check on the NMLS Consumer site).

So my 2020 goals have been to really take my brokering skills for a thrill ride, and phase out of doing normal consumer deals.

. :) As well as the fact that about 80% of consumers, and 60% of Realtors, don't know how to tell the difference between a retail direct lender / banker, and an independent mortgage broker....

We set a goal for ourselves of 2 years to get out of all consumer and student loan debt AND save up a comfortable  emergency plan.

This past year I’ve been able to secure multiple streams of income and pay off all my consumer debt.

You have to have a Home Depot consumer credit card.

Therefore, the cost of the appraisal in the current model is actually determined by the consumers willingness to pay, and we get what we pay for.

In a nutshell: Dave Ramsey — Consumer focused and a bit of a hypocrite.
