Hi @brandonturner and @joshuadorkin,I'm currently reading through Amanda Han's Tax book that was offered here and one of the things she talks about is planning a trip using real estate as part of that trip to make it deductible.

I offered cash for key, went through some drama and they are eventually out of the house.This is by far the most challenging rehab i ever did in my entire 3 years in the business.My rehab cost does not have an estimate to cover the 2 trip to the ER for this house:the black mold in the house make my skin so sick that have to went to the ER during the middle of the night to get some treatment.

It has been along time but here are some of the things to be aware of in Lago Vista and Highland Lake Estates :'- Many lots are not economically feasible to build on due to topography- Some lot may not have water and sewer to the lot and it would be your cost to get them there(I am sure that this has changed somewhat)-City Hall can be a close knit group that can be unfriendly to those from the big city of AustinLet me know if you have any specific questions and thanks for the trip down real estate memory lane !
